In this episode, Rowan is visited by Jezera in his jail cell, who informs him that his choice is either a lifetime of imprisonment under harsh conditions, or loyal service to herself and her twin... brother Andras, as both of them are now revealed to have been the illegitimate children of Demon Lord Karnas himself. Realizing that this is his only chance to ever see Alexia again, as well as sympathizing with Andras and Jezera in their common hatred for the sonbby upper classes of the Six Realms, Andras accepts the deal - although in order to properly seal it, he has to sexually submit his body to either the brother or the sister... or both, if he so prefers.
