In this episode, Dickon is awakened by Belle, a fairly uninhibited woodland pixie, who invites him to see her master, the old Crone. After finding out that his mentor Merek has mysteriously died in the... night, Dickon travels to the Crone, who sets him a daunting task - to be able to control the mind of the Princess upon her arrival in order to cure her from the Darkness within her. To do so, Dickon must master some particularly difficult (and awesome) spells that will allow him to mind control everybody around him, but mastering these spells takes time... and the first attempts are disappointing.
