Mandy isn't the brightest but it was probably her looks that got her the gig interning at a lab. One weekend she decides to bring home an experimental shrink ray for the weekend without the... company's permission, not to steal it, but she wanted to be ambitious and clean it up. While cleaning it, it goes off and shrinks her all alone in her room. This happens before the clip starts.
